I had known Wendy Hunt for some time and had always loved her work. I watched her build the clay models from which her beautiful sculptures would be cast and marvelled at her ability to capture the character/expression of the animal or bird she was sculpting and the exquisite detail in the finished pieces.

However, a large and relatively simple sculpture of a Black Grouse finally captured my heart. Wendy really captures the bird's stance and arrogance. From the first time I saw him on show, I wanted him, and I am so glad I did purchase him.

Wendy very kindly delivered him to me very quickly after purchase. 

The sculpture has pride of place in our sitting room and has been much admired/coveted.
