Wendy grew up in the south of England where she spent many hours of her formative years exploring the shores of the Solent, thus furthering her early love of nature and wildlife.

Wendy is that rare combination of both painter and sculptor, using a variety of media to create highly detailed original art works encompassing coloured pencil, oil, acrylic and watercolour, bronze and bronze resin. Although a self-taught 2D artist, she was tutored in sculpture by the renowned sculptor Margot Dent. Wendy had always been fascinated by the tactile nature of sculpture, bringing a piece of metal or resin to life and capturing a moment in time.

She has exhibited at Christies, London, as part of an international sale raising funds for the World Wildlife Fund.  Her paintings have been purchased by The Medici Society and Royale Publications. Wendy’ s sculpture ‘Hares in Snow’  was sold at Christies, London, in their 2007 , Sporting Art, Wildlife & Dogs’ auction.

Wendy’ s work is exhibited in galleries in London, York and Stockbridge in Hampshire.  Her work has been shown throughout the United Kingdom as well as being held in private collections both nationally and internationally. Wendy exhibits regularly at the National Exhibition of Wildlife Art (NEWA), Liverpool, and is a committee member for the Marwell International Wildlife Art Society (MIWAS), with whom she exhibits at their annual summer exhibition.
